Process instrumentation we deliver based on devices of well-known companies like ABB, Endress-Hauser, Siemens, Fisher-Rosemount (currently Emerson Process Management), Phoenix Contact, with which we have concluded partnership agreements ensuring authorized supplies and distributor level of prices.

PLC's. We deliver control systems based on SIMATIC PLC's by SIEMENS, GE FANUC PLC's by General Electric and PLC's of other vendors (like Allen-Bradley, WAGO, Modicon, Bernecker & Reiner, SAIA, which base on worldwide standards), always choosing PLC's according to the best price-to-technical performance ratio for specific application, taking into consideration investor's preferences. We widely use control systems with distributed configuration based on intelligent I/O modules, fulfilling Profibus DP, Profibus PA and CANbus standards, which advantages have been appreciated by our many customers, consequently using this approach.

PC based monitoring systems  we design mainly using our unique SCADA (Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition) system asix for Windows, which already operates in over 2500 licenses on operator and supervisory stations. asix  concentrates many years of experience of ASKOM company obtained during execution of automation and monitoring systems, by offering functions beyond SCADA standards.

are just a few of asix advantages which ensure its effective and reliable application. asix packages are offered for applications from very small ones (for 32 variables) to the biggest ones (no limit of variables). Scalability of licenses ensures cost rationalization for the users, with an open possibility to expand the system in steps.

 Apart from its own SCADA system, ASKOM is technically prepared and open to use visualization systems of other manufacturers like WinCC by Siemens, iFIX by Intellution or InTouch by Wonderware. As a partner of Siemens and VAR of AB-Micro, which is a distributor of iFIX system, we have full support required to create applications and integrate systems. Decision about choice of visualization system is always made by Investor.

DCS (Distributed Control Systems). Automation of very large plants, which require continuous modernization and development, and processes of special requirements is usually made basing on DCS systems. The DCS systems by their nature make possible successive extension of the installation without the need to put aside already running part, provide intelligent I/O processors, ensure highest level of reliability by structural redundancy and integrate engineering software for designing, visualization and control in one coherent environment of engineering station. ASKOM possesses references for PSC7 and Teleperm systems by Siemens, NelesDNA by Metso Automation and TDC3000 by Honeywell. We are also open to implement systems of other manufacturers.

System integration. A key issue to execute tasks of production control and management is the access to information on manufacturing processes. At large variety of control and automation systems used, which is typical for many plants, the most important issue is to have know-how of data exchange between diverse systems. ASKOM possesses large experience in integration of various systems, which has been verified on many plants of our reference list and confirmed by extensive list of communication protocols accepted also within asix system. Variety of systems on the process level is converted, thanks to our knowledge, into a uniform, coherent system of production monitoring and management based on asix visualization system, SQL database servers and information availability from the level of standard Web browsers. Thanks to Internet, our solutions know no barriers.
